The Lodge & Club Ponte Vedra Beach: Coastal Elegance

The origins of The Lodge & Club trace back to 1940, when New York banker Tommy Sabin purchased oceanfront property south of the Inn & Club and established The Innlet, a seasonal hotel with 32 guest rooms. Over the years, the property changed hands and underwent several transformations

In 1989, it was redeveloped into The Lodge & Bath Club, a luxurious 66-room oceanfront hotel. By 1997, it became part of the Ponte Vedra Corporation and was renamed The Lodge & Club Ponte Vedra Beach. Today, it offers an intimate, romantic escape with access to the amenities of its sister resort.

Laid-back luxury with a coastal soul.

For groups who want a bit more barefoot in their boardroom, The Lodge & Club offers a vibe that’s just as high-end, but with a little more coastal cool. Just down the road from the Inn & Club, this oceanfront hideaway delivers elevated comfort, sweeping views, and a refined-but-relaxed atmosphere.

With 66 guest rooms and suites, it’s an intimate property—perfect for smaller groups or full buyouts. Attendees get the privacy of a boutique stay but still enjoy access to all of Ponte Vedra Beach’s world-class amenities.

Why Planners Love It:

  • Distinct meeting and event spaces with Atlantic views
  • A sense of privacy that’s ideal for leadership retreats or incentive-style gatherings
  • Access to golf, spa, and the perks of the larger resort ecosystem—without giving up exclusivity

The Vibe:

This is where your breakout sessions might involve beach walks. Where a welcome reception could happen fireside or oceanside—or both. It’s high-touch, high-service, and refreshingly unpretentious.
